Policies

All customers are responsible for covering the postage fees for sending their inclusions. Instructions will be sent with the order confirmation. Tiny Owls Keepsakes are not responsible for these items lost in the mail.

Once the keepsake is prepared, it will be shipped with a tracking number. If tracking says delivered but the customer hasn't received it, please ask neighbors if they accidentally received the package and give it up to a week to show up before filing a claim with USPS. Tiny Owls Keepsakes is not responsible for lost mail as it is out of our control.

Customers are responsible for promptly informing us if there is an update to the address, different from the one provided during checkout. Failure to do so before shipping will require the customer to cover the cost of resending the keepsake to the correct address.

Please treat your jewelry as you would your grandmother's pearls.

It's important to note that discoloration can affect all resin items due to the inherent chemical properties of resin.

To maintain the integrity of your jewelry, please adhere to the care instructions provided, which advise keeping the pieces away from prolonged exposure to sunlight, heat, water, and chemicals.

While our jewelry utilizes jeweler's grade resin containing UV stabilizers to minimize discoloration, it's worth mentioning that no resin is entirely impervious to damage from harsh chemicals, heat, and extended UV light.

We guarantee against discoloration for the first 3 months (90 days) following receipt of your item. Any discoloration issues arising from preservation would typically become apparent within this timeframe. We are unable to guarantee past 3 months as there is no way to know if the customer has followed the jewelry care instructions.

We can not guarantee the keepsake stone will look flawless as each individual stone is custom based on inclusions and add-ons. Bubbles may appear, different colors may show up in breastmilk (sometimes blue or pink!) during the preservation process. If the breastmilk is more yellow, we will add a bit of white pigment, unless noted not to do so.

Please note that settings are customized for each piece. There may be minor imperfections and evidence of handcrafting.

Be sure to inspect your jewelry once you have received it. Should you notice any defects in the setting upon receiving your jewelry piece, or if the keepsake stone has significant flaws, you have 5 days to email us photos detailing your concerns. Tiny Owls Keepsakes will then determine whether the flaw falls within the expected range of variation and possible imperfections.

The current turnaround time is between 6 and 12 weeks from the time I receive your inclusions. This is subject to change and is based on a number of factors.

This time is in addition to the shipping time.
